Welcome to Troop 19! We're excited to have your daughter as part of our amazing Scouting program! 

Please follow the below steps to get your daughter registered and to be included in our weekly newsletter. This is required for participation in Troop 19.

1. Print the BSA Youth Application, complete it, and submit it to Frank Reda or Jim McKenna at a Troop meeting. 
2. Create an account on our website. 
3. Once you've logged in, please update your contact details here and follow the steps to connect parents and Scout (step 2).
4. Complete the Troop 19 registration for the current Scouting year. (It will take about 5 to 10 minutes to read through and complete everything.)
5. Join the Troop 19's What's App channel. Important updates are shared via What’sApp and it is a means to connect with other Scout parents with questions. Stop by a Troop meeting and speak to an adult to be included in our group chat.
6. Subscribe to Troop 19 newsletters and the Troop 19 calendar. Get automatic updates to our schedule right on your phone or computer. 

Once registered, the next steps are to purchase the Scout uniform and camping equipment. (You can also post on the Troop 19 Swap channel in What'sApp to see check for available hand me downs.)

We rely on parent volunteers to help with troop operations. There's a role for everyone - please let me know when you have some time to chat about your background so we can determine the best way for you to contribute.
