St. Rose of Lima Church

With more than 2,000 members, St. Rose is a large Catholic church that draws its congregation from Millburn-Short Hills, Maplewood, Livingston, Springfield and beyond. Founded in 1852, the church has had a long relationship with Seton Hall University. Two presidents of the university have gone on to become pastors at St. Rose, while an early church leader later headed Seton Hall.  The church attracts members with a large number of programs, such as community outreach and education. The St. Rose of Lima School is associated with the church and is located adjacent to it. Troop 19, Troop 17, and Pack 17 are all chartered by St. Rose of Lima.
