January Camping Trip RECAP

The January campout was a unique and extraordinary trip, filled with fun surprises, skill building, and beautiful scenery. It was a captivating experience for everyone who joined.

We trekked along snow-lined trails for 7 miles, ambling past, enchanting frozen lakes and imposing mountains. Scouts brushed up on their map reading and fire building inside the cabin. After our delectable dinner, Lea fixed us up a Willy Wonka-style hot chocolate bar. A kingly array of sips and sweets! It was enjoyed in the radiant glow of a crackling fire. Fun and lively discussions were had, stories were told, friends were made.

Under Mr. Mckenna's tent setup tutelage, all scouts slept snug as a scout on a campout! Everyone was well-prepared, toasty, and spent a glorious night in the tents. According to one of the scouts, "This was definitely one of the top campouts in my book."
